In October the boys had the wonderful opportunity to go with Chris hunting. I stayed with mom and helped her since she was only a few weeks out from her open heart surgery. They loved every minute of camping, hiking, hot chocolate, grandpa stories, and shooting BB guns. I love that they have those experiences with their daddy. And I love that my daddy shared all those memories with Chris.
On the last day of the hunt at the very last possible minute, we spotted a nice little buck, (And when I say we I mean I), and we got him. The boys were so excited, they named him Lucky Buck.
