Total Tubular!!!!

McKay has had reoccurring ear infections since Nov. when all the boys had the swine flu. He has had three just in the last month and a half, so we decided to nip that problem in the bud! We saw our pediatrician and he recommended we go see an ENT, so I did. He said both ears had so much stuff behind the eardrums and that if we didn't get it taken care of we ran the risk of permanent damage. I didn't want to take any chances, so we made the appointment for right away.
Chris and Grandpa Adams gave him a blessing on Sunday night and we were set to go. We woke up early so we could make on time for our 6:45 call time, and we were there in good spirits. Until they called us back and it was ALL OVER! He refused to talk to the nurses, he would not put on the gown, and he even spit out the "happy juice". He was a real GEM! It broke my heart that he was so scared. Even when the medicine kicked in he was still saying "That he didn't want tubes."and "He didn't want to wear those tiger jammies." But it was all good by the time he got his party hat. He even waved goodbye to us.
10-15 minutes later the doctor was out telling us how smooth it went, and that it was a good thing we had it done because he had so much fluid, snot consistency (his words, not mine), behind there that he had to have been miserable. He has been such a champ since then, it has been about 4 hours, he is eating, drinking, and playing, like nothing ever happened. Easiest thing EVER!!!! And I don't regret it for a second.
(keep going down to see Morg's birthday post)

What a trooper! Sounds like he is doing well now. That's good news.
