Newport Beach

Our first stop when we got to Cali was the beach. Oh how I love to visit the beach. It is so wonderful to see my kids and the excitement on their faces when they see the large amounts of water, and the huge waves. The water was freezing, but it was still so much fun.

McKay was all over the place. He loved the water, the sand, and the shells. He just wanted to play.
Camden just wanted to look for shells, and dig in the sand. He kept very busy though and had to be reminded about every 5 minutes to come back to where we were. But as long as he was enjoying himself, right?
Mason was my brave one, he loved the waves. He would just run right into them, and pray they wouldn't knock him over.
The water was a bit much for poor Morgan. His first time venturing out there he was knocked over, and that was it. He would walk right out there and as soon as he would reach the edge of the water another wave would come in and he was booking it, running as fast as he can so the water wouldn't touch him, and if he wasn't fast enough, he would SCREAM! But he loved diggin with his brothers and making sure he was right there with them every step of the way.
It was a great way to start our vacation.
